There is no other word that adequately describes this Santa Fe backyard wedding, but enchanted. Everything about this wedding was certainly enchanting – the couple, their story, the setting, the atmosphere and the evening.

Not everyone meets the love of their life at five. This is the story of two people who did. They might not have known it then, when their mother’s who were best friends brought them together, but a couple decades later these two reconnected in college and the rest is history.

Bluegrass and down home fun!

This delightful backyard wedding in Santa Fe, New Mexico is a celebration of fun interspersed with deeply heartfelt moments with friends that are family. Located at the bride’s parent’s home just outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Looking out across the red earth plateau against the electric-blue sky, it is nestled among the pinion pines, sagebrush and wildflowers.

The ambiance at this wedding is as captivating as the surroundings. This charming couple and their families cast a spell that made everyone feel right at home. From the centerpieces from a local artist, to the bride in cowboy boots, the luminaries lining the driveway to the boot stomping music provided by an amazing bluegrass band, a true Santa Fe experience.

An enthralling experience for everyone at this wedding, as well as an excuse to explore the magical Santa Fe. Cada and Quin made my work seem like play – part of their charm. They are so relaxed and comfortable with each other and always willing to have fun. I love the shot of the couple holding each other close under the southwestern sky with the full moon illuminating their hearts – like I said enchanted.
